We’re excited to announce that applications for the position of Career Firefighter/EMT will be available for pickup starting Monday, August 4, 2025, at:

Completed application packets must be returned in person to GFD Headquarters by Friday, August 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM—no exceptions. A $25 cash fee is due at the time of drop-off.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Have reached your 21st birthday but not yet reached your 40th birthday in accordance with the 1977 Police Officers and Firefighters Pension Fund.

• Valid Driver’s License

• CPAT Card due no later than August 28, 2025, 4:00PM

This hiring process will be used to develop an eligibility list to hire career firefighters for any immediate and future openings in the next two (2) years.
